Indoor Pedal - better known as pedal on roller

Whether you’re new to the sport or not, the indoor pedal is full of details and our idea is to make it easier for you! Connect!
What do I need to get started?
••• Bicycle - any bike, whether road or MTB

••• Training Roll (here’s a review!)
There are different types, brands and models of training roller, you just need to understand what is best suited for you and your budget. If you are a beginner, it is worth thinking about a basic version of the smart, which already includes sensors that capture your data and will adjust to the route data.

ϟ Free Roll
Price range: R$400-R$2,000
Perhaps the closest thing to the reality of cycling outdoors is that there is no wheel fixation or any type of attachment, just place the bike on top of the rollers and pedal. This roller requires practice as the balance is not the same and it does not have any resistance mechanism.
To connect to virtual training apps you will need to have a potentiometer and a cadence meter on your bike.
It is relatively light and easy to transport, weighing between 4-10kg and adjustable in length. It is a practical roller for those who want to pedal.

ϟ Fixed Roll
Price range: R$700-R$20,000
The variety in this category is much greater, they are usually more controlled, customizable rolls and will vary between:
  • Types of resistance: magnetic, fluids and air;
  • Smart or not: the non-smart ones don't have simple connectivity with training apps but they are ideal for starting indoor training (they are lean, economical and simple to use). Smart rollers are the most suitable for those who want connectivity and interaction to train, as they connect directly with applications, have power and cadence readings and also with various physical activity monitoring devices (Garmin, Polar, etc.) via ANTT+ and Bluetooth. ⠀

••• Sensors - for those who opt for the common roller and want to connect the bike and obtain data from online training applications, the simulator uses Bluetooth or ANT+ sensors. In that case you will need to buy one. The speed sensor is but you can also connect other sensors (power meter, cadence meter, etc.).
